Dr J Vijay Venkatraman would also be the Chair of the UK Pharmacovigilance Day 2015 conference

Dr J Vijay Venkatraman, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Oviya MedSafe, a global Pharmacovigilance Consulting and Drug Safety Services company based out of Coimbatore, India and London, UK has been invited to deliver a speech on the topic “South India – An attractive and emerging global pharmaceutical hub“, at the UK South India Business Meet 2015 to be held on 5th November 2015 at the UK Parliament, London. The UK South India Business Meet 2015, organized by the British South India Council of Commerce – a UK-based independent trade body, is the 13th meet of this series which have been held at the UK Parliament over the years. The British South India Council of Commerce has engaged around 1830 delegates as part of their mission to promote trade and investment relations between UK and India, specifically South India.

While speaking to the media, Dr J Vijay Venkatraman said, “I feel greatly honored to have been invited by the British South India Council of Commerce to speak at the UK South India Business Meet 2015 at the UK Parliament, London. It is a reflection of Oviya MedSafe’s well-recognized commitment and proficiency in the domain of pharmaceutical services, especially Pharmacovigilance. I take this opportunity to thank the British South India Council of Commerce for showering this privilege on me. I also express my gratitude to my colleagues at Oviya MedSafe whose enthusiastic teamwork has resulted in such laurels for the organization over the years.”

Prior to this event, Dr J Vijay Venkatraman has been invited as the Chair to conduct the day’s proceedings of UK Pharmacovigilance Day 2015, a UK-specific pharmacovigilance conference organized at London, UK by EasyB srl, an Italian company that specializes in conferences and seminars dedicated to the pharmaceutical sector such as clinical research, pharmacovigilance, statistics and epidemiology, across Europe, since 2008.

UK Pharmacovigilance Day would primarily focus on sharing best practices, results and experiences of experts in the field of pharmacovigilance. ‘Pharmacovigilance Day’ brings together safety experts from the pharmaceutical and the healthcare industry: drugs and medical devices companies, biotechnology firms, government agencies, academic research bodies and so on.

Dr J Vijay Venkatraman is a Diabetologist, Drug Safety Physician and Entrepreneur. He is the first person in India to be conferred the Fellowship of the Pharmaceutical Information & Pharmacovigilance Association (PIPA), UK. He founded Oviya MedSafe in 2012.
