Greetings from Oviya MedSafe – your future strategic partner for Global Pharmacovigilance!
I am pleased to meet you all through the October 2012 edition of Oviya MedSafe’s monthly newsletter. In this edition, I would like to speak about the growth plans we have for Oviya MedSafe for the next few months and invite you to be part of our growth story.
As you might already know, Oviya MedSafe is all set to offer the following services to global pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations and other health agencies from mid January 2013:
– End-to-end Processing of ICSR’s including Medical Review
– Narrative Writing for Clinical Trial & Spontaneous Cases
– Aggregate Report Writing & Review
– Literature Search & Review
– Post-marketing Surveillance Studies
– Turnkey Projects in Pharmacovigilance
In the next phase, we also intend to provide value additions in terms of analytical insights in pharmacovigilance by harnessing the expertise of Ma Foi Analytics who are one of the key stakeholders in Oviya MedSafe and have their related core strength in Healthcare Analytics. We also consider rendering pharmacovigilance consulting to generic pharmaceutical companies, especially in the emerging markets, as a significant part of our growth plan in the years to come.
Oviya MedSafe’s pharmacovigilance consultants and panel of physicians are in the process of finalization of recruitment and will formally be part of the team shortly. To ensure continuity of availability of trained drug safety professionals and confidently assure scalability of our outsourced services, Oviya MedSafe has partnered with Cliniminds – India’s largest Pharmacovigilance Training Institute. We are also actively forming academic collaborations with universities and colleges to nurture our knowledge capabilities on an ongoing basis.
Oviya MedSafe welcomes interested pharmacovigilance professionals with specific and rich experience in any of the above-mentioned services to send in their proposals for us to work together. Though Oviya MedSafe would principally operate through its full-time staff from its global delivery centre in Coimbatore, remote working and on-demand consultant models can be considered, subject to the nature of the projects, regulatory acceptance and logistic convenience. Oviya MedSafe’s technical team would ensure the information security is maintained with utmost care, in any case.
We are keen to identify project partners overseas who would see synergy with Oviya MedSafe and work with us on a win-win model that would integrate the unique strengths of both the entities involved.
